Let's Go To the Beach, Beach {Weekend in Pictures}

This is truly the life. 
There are times I'm homesick; I'm not exactly sure where home is anymore (I mean geographically).
Home to me is wherever these three and my babies' daddy is :)  
When I'm with them life is good and everything makes sense.  
South Carolina makes sense.
We are loving OUR favorite part of South Carolina.  
We made a whole weekend of the beach…..

 The kiddos enjoyed building sandcastles and the small waves crashing against them sending them into a giggle fit.

 I love their laughter.

      Also…..

I love Popcorn & Pickles, the duo are even tastier on the beach :)

 The waves began to pickup, my husband and our 12 year old didn't want to miss out on them.  

I thought it was best if the littles sat those waves out…. 

 After such a lovely day at the beach we decided to keep the fun going and went to a local seafood restaurant.  

Let's just say this was our first and last visit.  

Sorry for the poor picture quality it was dark in there. 

Sunday Funday

This Sunday was Blessing of the Fleet, I wanted to go but I was out voted, which was okay with me because… beach.

Notice the littles are now wearing lifejackets. Paranoia much…

More sandcastles….

 Sunday, we ate dinner on the beach.  Dinner was much better on the beach than the-restaurant-that-shall-remain-nameless.  

My heart was truly filled with sunshine all weekend.

My Weekend in Pictures {Wordless Wednesday}

This weekend was all about having fun and discovering more of what South Carolina has to offer.

We're enjoying new experiences as a family here in South Carolina :)

We found a new breakfast spot that's sooooooo good, it's bad! I wish I would have taken a picture of what I ate, it was delicious!!!!

Yes, I'll admit it, this weekend I cheated on Paleo.

Friday

Friday night we let the kids stay up late putting together our Disney Vacation scrapbook.

Saturday

We quickly had the chance to take in the beauty of  Angel Oak Tree. We showed up late, therefore these are the ONLY two pictures I took.

It started to rain, and the park ranger was rushing everyone out….

Awww what an adorable family! I wonder what happened to the Mama?

My husband and I enjoyed a Pho and movie night date.  

I tried to go noodleless but I just couldn't.

SUNDAY

The kids were up early Easter Morning. 

The easter bunny hooked them up ;)

If you look closely you'll see: one of the girls' Target $1 Spot Easter wreaths, hubby cooking in the kitchen, and check out my new table.

Oh, here's a picture of the eggs my kiddos dyed. I totally think they were inspired by our new plates.

2nd Sunday {Charleston} #WW

My weekend couldn't have been any better; I had my family, sun, the beach, and my first ever 2nd Sunday.  

I enjoyed taking in the sights and sounds of the city with my family…. and buying sweets off the street carts :)

The Artist Doing Her Thing

If you visit me often, you've heard me speak of my little artist. 

She's the little girl who fills my heart with rainbows.

When we moved here to SC we were delighted to find out that she & my son would be attending a school for the creative arts.  The Artist has been able to act and explore with art, which is totally her thing!

This weekend her work, along with other artful classmates' work, was showcased at Barnes & Noble. (I  ♡ B&N)

The artist wrote and illustrated a book entitled Pigerella.  The book  is super cute! She worked vigorously on her book (she knew we would be on vacation during the deadline) she did it, she pulled together a well written and beautifully illustrated book in time to be featured.

She was so happy when she saw people picking up her book and reading with smiles across their faces.

Me? Well, I was beyond proud.

Circle of Life

Throughout Disney World,  there are beautiful settings for the perfect picture-taking. Unfortunately, there were what seemed like an incalculable amount of people; you have to rush to get the right picture.  As we were walking I saw Rafiki and Simba, I told my husband to quickly hold up our son… this is the quick image that came from that.

The crowd around us laughed, later on in the day we saw another father son duo do the same :)

A Wordy {Wordless} Wednesday: My Weekend.

I just love my weekends with my family...

I thought for WW, I'd share my weekend with you.

1. Snuggles with my furbaby

2. Disney surprises for my babies; getting them ready for Disney :)

3. Free trip to Kohls. I had enough Kohls cash to walk away with over $100 worth of free goodies!

4. Friday Night, Pizza Night.  The kiddos made naan pizza; hubby & I kept it Paleo. 

We watched Disney movies, of course :)

5. Mailed it! I finally sent out my #SpringPolishSwap!

6. Smooching this man all weekend while testing out my new lipstick.

7. My new lipstick was sent to me from Influesnter and guess what, did you guess? 

I'm kind of liking having some color on my lips.

It's crazy, I'm usually a Burt's Bee kind of girl, but I think I may just like this bright Rimmel Moisture Renew color.

It's HUMP DAY, we're almost there again!

My Little Rockstar #WW

Last week my baby girl {along with my son} was student of the week, she earned the most class points, and she was also Rockstar of the week.  The Rockstar of the week is allowed to bring home "Rockstar" {the teddy bear} she then writes all about her and Rockstar's adventures.  Here is one of their adventures this weekend at Barnes & Noble.  

I'm so proud of my baby girl.
