#AskAwayFriday {Questions by Amber @TheBoldFabMom}

It's time for #AskAwayFriday!!
This week I'm swapping questions with the sweet lady behind The Bold Fab Mom
Amber.
Amber is a sweetheart and has become such a dear bloggy friend.  I hope you will check out her answers to my questions->here.
Now, for my answers to Amber's questions.

1. You're moving! How do you "really" feel about this?

I'm excited. I'm scared. I'm nervous.
This will be a new chapter for my family.  We're ready for a new adventure, but we're also a little sad.
Chicagoland has become home, all three of the babies were born here.
There has been tons of firsts/memories here.
We have good friends, great schools, and a lovely community we're leaving behind.
However, we excited to make new friends, and enjoy everything South Carolina has to offer.

The process of moving, I'm sure, will be a headache. I have about 4 1/2 weeks to get us all ready and try to sale my house... we all know how the housing market is, so, this should be a joy! {sarcasm}
2. Since people thought my Marky Mark comment from last week was hilarious, who is your favorite, but embarrassing artist or group?
Hmmm... who's my favorite?  Well, I'm not sure I have an embarrassing favorite.
I do have to admit something kind of embarrassing though.... {that was in my whisper voice}
You know that Wrecking Ball song by Miley Cyrus?  Well it's stuck in my head as I type.  I know right?  I cannot get it out and it keeps getting louder.. in my head! Damn you Miley!!
3. What is your favorite book?
I'm going to cheat and give you the same answer I gave Keia...

I love sooooo many books! I'm a huge children's book lover and I love Edgar Allen Poe.  However, this book captivated me in Honors English back in High School... a couple years ago ;) Okay a decade
When I heard they were remaking the movie I got so excited! I couldn't wait to see the movie, I waited in suspense for years.  I still haven't seen it :/

4. All of us ladies have dreamt about being a fairy tale princess.  Who would you choose to be if you had the chance?
Okay, so Merida came to mind first... so I'm going with her.
For obvious reasons... that hair!! I'm kidding! I love that she doesn't take no crap or adhere to the norm.  She was never locked in a tower for a man to find her, she proved she could save herself and her family.
I don't like that she was a bit mouthy with her Mama, but eh, it's a Disney flick...

5. I've been wondering this for some time now. How did you come up with your blog name, Mrs. AOK? Are these your initials or is it supposed to mean, "hey ya'll, I'm A Okay!?"
You are the first person to ask!! Every week I wait in suspense to see if anyone will ask. You my dear are the winner!!
I'm married ergo Mrs. is appropriate and AOK are my initials.
However, I promise I'm A Okay too :)

I'm also a work in progress, everyday I'm working on being a better me; I invite you all on my journey.

6. What inspired you to begin blogging?
I started this blog originally for my Etsy shop. I made hairbands and tutus. I stopped my Etsy shop, then started to sporadically blog.
Last October, I made the change to Mrs. AOK, a Work in Progress to finally commit to blogging.... which didn't quite happen.
Life and school got in the way a bit.
So, this Spring is when I truly committed.  I finished school, which gave me some free time to blog.  This time around I'm loving it-- I'm blogging and building new bonds!!
7. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go?
This is tough because I'm not well traveled at all there is a whole world waiting for me {unfortunately, my how-do-you-say.. aversion to flying gets a bit in the way} .  However I did live in Germany when I was younger :)

I would love to visit Spain.  I have a great grandfather from Spain, I don't know much about my Spanish side or my French side either, the curious side of me wants to see France too.
Plus, if we took the kiddos to France they would be beyond excited-- we've talked about it for years.
8. What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate Chip Cookies and Coffee!!

9. I've been asked this a few times now, so what's in your purse right now? I want pictures! :-) Don't cheat and clean it out before you snap a pic!
Okay, I'm in between bags. So, please excuse the mess!  My wallet is down stairs and I'm to lazy to add it in but you said no cheating.
I have:  too many receipts in my bag, change, hair stuff, hmmm how did those extra straws get in there, Burt's Bees, a pen, and an old Olive Garden gift card.

10. Who inspires you the most?
Yikes!! This is tough one! There are so many people who have touched my life.  I takeaway lessons from the many people who have brought me joy, kindness, and even sadness.
Life is a learning experience, I try to learn a new lesson each day.  Most often, I come away with the same lesson: kindness and love win.

However, you asked WHO inspires me.

My husband is quite inspiring to me.  He has been this ray of sunshine in my life.  He never gives up, he moves along, he's fought adversity, wore the hero's gear {Army Strong}, fathers with great love, and loves me with his whole heart.
He is always inspiring me to keep doing better, and to not give up.
The reason, I have this blog is because of him!
He set up my blog and twitter because he believed in me.
I believe in him.
We're the yin and the yang....
I'm the calm one, but nothing makes me more calm than being with him, especially when I'm a hot mess.  To lay on his chest at night every night for the rest of nights, would be more than anything to me {that's my safe spot}.  I'd rather lay there forever than to see Paris, France!

Well that's all folks...
