Light in the darkness.

Today I shared some deep feelings on Tots to Teens.  I’m working through my tears and anger—

I hope everyone is having a lovely day.  My day has been good J  I met the nicest lady today.  I cannot tell you how many times I walk into Target and end up talking to random people truly every time I go.

Today I talked to a lady we were discussing a Christmas Boot they had at Target and I shared that I don’t have one for my little guy for St. Nick’s day.  I was considering getting this particular boot that was plastic not glass like my girls’.
We talked for just a bit & then I went on looking at other things with my son.

The lady comes over to me and says here this is for him (a handful of money), buy him something special.  I told her I could not take it.  She says, “Yes, you can!” she stuffs the money in my jacket pocket.  I was in shock WOW! Is this happening.  I thanked her and told her Merry Christmas she smiled and said Merry Christmas to me, and then asks “is that enough?”

Enough?  Are you kidding me enough that was everything!  She gave me humanity, she gave me love, she gave me light, and she gave me Christmas spirit!  She didn’t have to—not at all.
Now I pay it forward.
And if you’re wondering yes I got the plastic boot.  I told my boy this boot has a story J
