{{BIG SHCOOL GIRL SQUEAL}}
I made my first ever wrapped wreath, and it was easier than I thought. Lately, I haven't felt like I have had time to do anything especially anything crafty. Nevertheless, yesterday I found my self so driven to finish the wreath. I just kinda started not knowing where I was going, I sat on the couch watching my husband and kiddos battle it out on the Wii. While I was doing the wreath they were so surprised how fast I did it.... Me too. I always see these beautiful wreaths on Etsy and on all the great crafty blogs, but wasn't sure if I could do it. I am not saying I am on SUPER STAR STATUS--> but I think I can get there. The project isn't that expensive either.
Yarn- 3.99
Foam Wreath- 3.00
Fabric-Tac- Had on hand
Flower- Had on hand
Tulle- Had on hand
Embellishments- Had on hand
I began wrapping the wreath with the yarn
I used the Fabri-Tac every 10-15 wraps
wrapping tightly
Once I was done wrapping I felt so accomplished... but didn't know what to add.
I thought I am known as the flower lady... add flowers : )
I used sparkly blue tulle and a red flower but something was missing.
So I took a part a white flower, but I still needed some Yellow...
for our troops <3. I was all out of yellow ribbon (gasp), so I used a yellow t-shirt rosette for the center.
My first wrapped wreath......
I'm hooked there will be more to come...
Cheers--
